My understanding is these don't provide elec continuity.

But which part of them breaks the continuity? And do all of them fail to provide it or will some do so?

Thanks

Not up with the lingo/clued up on the subject. But when you see earthing cables on pipes leading to a kitchen tap - one piped with rigid copper tails - it's my understanding that re-piping with a flexible hose would not be acceptible?

And if so was wondering which bit of the flexi causes the issue. And whether the type of flexi that ends in a compression fitting rather than a swivel nut with rubber washer would solve the problem. Because at the end the other end both the flexi and the copper tail seal with a thread and a rubber seal so are presumably the same that end..

Flex doesn't comply with earthing but these days you don't need your kitchen sink bonding

Best person to ask is a sparky
