when removing the ash pan, and depressing the fan switch on
the control panel, under the burner tray left side
the fan should achieve optimum speed etc, the green neon
GAS indicator should illuminate, indicating that gas is available.
i have to click the piezo ignition several clicks, but still
no gas is igniting.
we only use it during auturm/winter seasons
its been fine in the past.
is the neon indicator at fault?
has anybody had this problem with their gas fireplaces
any comments/suggestions are welcome.
thanks

Better getting someone to have a look at it. Fires can be the most dangerous gas appliances if something goes wrong. When was it last serviced?

last serviced in 2010, going back to the neon
light, can they be tested to check if light
has blown & how?

It is unlikely to be anything to do with a neon. Best advice is as before. Get someone in to look at it.

i will get it looked at. sometimes the solenoid stops
operating if appliance is not used regularly.
