Sharp Point

Received a letter this morning stating that i've been suspended, because i've no work for them to inspect. Since i invested lots of money to become OFTEC registered, ive received next to nothing of in the respect of oil work.
FFS!! the money i spend to stay within in the realms of the law in training, registrations and insurances. The idea to become OFTEC reg was that if anything comes in, i can work legally.

EFFING joke.

So next time the key is to lie, which i'm not very comfortable with.

again, extremely Soded off bogrodder

To also add, I'll be re-instated once I've done some oil work and been inspected. BUT! Wouldn't that mean I'd be working illegally until I'd be re-instated?

I came close to that.
I wont bore you with the story.

they will come and inspect when you have an install though IIRC?

I ve only recently done my OFTEC as well and am too busy catching with all my gas things booked in to do any oil for a few weeks at least. I ve just had a text to say they re coming to inspect me next week but i ve not done anything yet, i was going to ask them to put it off for a few weeks but having read this Im not sure that s a good idea!

first inspection is just books and buy more oftec crud off them, next one they will want to see installs, haven't seen mine as haven't done any nearby they could see, so not a lot of joy for them there :)

Mate of mine had an OFTEC inspection a couple of weeks ago and had to go to Cornwall (827 mile round trip) even though he had installs a lot closer to home. Think I'd have told them to stick it
