That looks like an overflow connection, if it is, then you’ll need something to connect onto that. Also if it is, then upload a photo of the waste or state make and model and we might be able to find you spares.

If that's come supplied with the bath chuck that rubbish away and get a flexcon2, q10, t12a-f. All product codes available from screwfix

That will be a mcalpine trap, adaptor and flexible waste pipe. You would honestly be stupid not to use them as you won't ever get a problem with them and will cost you less than £20. The adaptor is in case your bath waste is some continental crap that doesn't fit UK sizes (which i highly expect given your picture)

Hi, appreciate the advice!
It’s a walk-in jacuzzi bath the client ordered from e-bay, they got it cheap apparently as it’s a bit scratched up but the quality is pretty shocking, anyway, it’s come with a shallow waste which connects to the hose in the picture, I think it’s best to swap the cheap supplied one for the mcApline option as you suggest!

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...

I was stupid enough not to check the position of the pipes under the tiles when installing a toilet and drilled right through the center of a 16 mm copper water pipe. I exposed the pipe by removing a ~30cm section of the plastic sleeve and a ~10 cm section of the pipe around the hole. Several...
