Question for you all, What is the deal using a condensing pipe to pump in up through the attic out into the guttering? Previous companies weve worked for on the Eaga/Hees Scheme have requested we do that and The current company says its not allowed. is it allowed and are the company being petty?

Plastic guttering thats all, i think it might jsut depend on what contract it is and whats stated i guess! petty though!

I believe it is allowed but it depends on whether the gutter goes to a rainwater drain, then things like neutralizers are put in place

If your using a pump then I can think of better places to pump it than the gutter. I can see that causing problems in the cold when the pump backs up and knocks power off to boiler.

Another problem, snow fills the gutter and freezes condensing pipe

there will need to be an air gap to stop the condense pipe/pump pipework flooding if the guttering/rwp blocks up. Also you would have to lagg the pipe and make sure the rainwater system goes to a foul drain. I would say its a poor idea at best.

Condense is slightly acidic and is harmful to wildlife if discharged into somewhere they have access to. It can burn the feathers off baby birds if they bathe in a gutter.

wouldnt worry about any birds if the job is near my ghetto all the cats around here have them!!
