Hello,

I have a bathtub faucet that has started dripping. I read online that the best thing to do to fix that problem is to replace the cartridge in the handle. I took it apart and got the cartridge out, but could not find any markings or branding to order a new one. I have asked a few local plumbers to see if they could identify it and so far nobody has seen anything like it.

The handle does not have any markings or branding either. A different whirlpool in our home has a Danze faucet so I assumed that maybe this one was the same and I ordered two different Danze cartridges (DA507348N and DA507107) but neither of them fit in the valve.

I'm replacing the shower cartridge on my Bristan 1901 Thermostatic Exposed Dual Control Shower (Top Outlet). I have removed the cap and screw but the temperature handle won't come off. Am I missing something or does it just need more force?
