lame plumber

me I avoid site work like the plague, but a good customer called saying their holiday home boiler had gone wrong would I attend on Friday. So despite a full work load, I agreed, she said the builder would be expecting me as they had no hot water on site.

Friday am off I go, arrive at big house and all their vans are blocking the drive and parking, despite it having loads of room. All the road outside are double yellows so I aint parking on them, so ask the lad on his phone if he can move one of the vans back to let us in, in he gets and drops back 2 feet so all I can do is get halfway through the gate and just squeeze out my door, cant even get at my side door to the tools. Matey still in the van on the phone, as i walk to the boiler room through all the shyte and cack (all they are doing is a re render), but the place is a bomb site. look at the boiler, new photocell probably, and go back to the van to get one, ask matey to back up a bit and get the look.

Not an issue, squeeze into van and off to my next appointment, where I get filter coffee and a croissant for my troubles.

So now, 2245 custard has just arrived and its all cold, builder said I just beggared off, which is almost true, so she is begging me to go tomorrow, me not a chance, why should I deal with monkeys. I hate thick builders who think the sun shines out theirs!!

Every two weeks or so I have to go and top up the system because the hot taps are running cold. Boiler display is flashing 0.6 bar and I fill up to 1.3. I've had an engineer look inside the boiler and he can't see anything wrong. I've checked the pipes all over the house and cannot see any...
