hi All,
if like me, you dislike reading anything other than what's on your phone/tablet and pc, i have put together the handouts which i was given last week whilst on my training course last week

very informative...

http://zanudesign.co.uk/gas/baxi/basic-electrics.pdf
http://zanudesign.co.uk/gas/baxi/common-faults.pdf
http://zanudesign.co.uk/gas/baxi/boiler-appreciation.pdf
http://zanudesign.co.uk/gas/baxi/boiler-diagnostics.pdf

Apologies for the quality as i had to scan them on low resolution or id be sat at my desk all day..

Yes, thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very hands on. The instructor was very knowledgeable. I was surprised as to how much I've learnt.

Before the course, I wouldn't have had a clue of where to start to have a look. I'm not saying I'm an expert by any means now but i feel confident in testing the components and I'm more familiar with the sequences of operation.

It is a very good course im sure even experie4nced engineers would probably learn some thingh

My local Rep have me booked to attend tomorrow. I really don't want to and might phone around 08:45 to tell them I can't make it.

If anyone does decide to book their courses.....please take packed lunch :eek:mg_smile:

Every two weeks or so I have to go and top up the system because the hot taps are running cold. Boiler display is flashing 0.6 bar and I fill up to 1.3. I've had an engineer look inside the boiler and he can't see anything wrong. I've checked the pipes all over the house and cannot see any...

Ideal Logic 24, Previous problem was that the hot water was only cold or barely warm if the heating was in use. If heating was off and boiler cold then would get hot water most of the time. Changing the flow cartridge about 2 years ago (when I moved in) solved this problem enough to suffer it as...

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...
