Discuss Armaflex Kaiflex any difference whats the best insulation? in the UK Plumbing Forum | Plumbing Advice area at PlumbersForums.net

I moved my boiler to the loft. I think it's 22mm pipes up there but they are close together and need lagging (they shouldn't be I know but oh well wrong tradesmen did the installation)

I'm looking for Armaflex 0.6mm thick 22m pipe borehole.
I'm not a regular DIYer but wanted to know if Armaflex and Kaiflex are roughly the same thing?

Armaflex (Armacell) don't do a 22mm thick 6mm. I've seen someone on FB market selling Kaiflex and they say it's the same thing but the texture looks different.
I kinda want the best but it need to be able to fix my piping
Self-seal or pre-cut too

(I've cleaned up the pipes since the picture)

Thanks in Advance

Better off boxing them in and insulating the box

You could cut some chases out of a piece of Kingspan 😆
Never used kaiflex but 6mm of anything isn't going to do much for heatloss (might be good for condense on fridge pipes)

They are to close together to insulate individually it's not a good idea to wrap hot and cold pipes up together either ? , your choices are limited I'd lag the cold and form a insulated boxing to cover the whole lot , or you move em further apart. Kop
