Just got some 25mm floplast fittings and inserts (black) and some 25mm MDPE blue pipe. The problem is the floplast inserts only go in about 10mm into the pipe and are too tight to go further. The MDPE pipe is waven.
I tried white inserts polypipe and they fitted ok. I know you cant mix speedfit pipe with hep fittings etc.. Is there different MDPE pipe for different fitting as in above ground?
Any suggestions appreciated

Never saw black inserts just clear/White
Might need to file them down a bit

Never used a screwfix insert but MDPE is all the same size. Just hammer it in and shove the fitting on.

I think it would kill the moment if you ran out to the van for a tin of silicon spray:uhoh2::smile:

i have used sun bathing oil in the past :rolleyes4: :1eye: did the job :) will not be running to the van in that moment no wway
