Had the mk1 then mk1 with a 1600 cortina engine and box jammed in, had the mark ii then got a better job got the 2 litre Ghia Capri, then the 2litre S then the daddy a 2.8 injection like s,,t off a shovel, that 2 litre s looks good though.

I just about remember my dads blue cortina and this battles every morning to get the piece of **** started whilst swearing under his breath and getting in the ear from my mum for swearing in front of me!

Having it restored and updated at the mo, going to track day, sprint and hill climb it. Eventually.

Got to admit the first vehicle was an Anglia van, my mate worked for quicks for ford, and came home with a twin choke webber which we put on the van, sounded absolutely brilliant, especially if you couldn't see the van. Then was a surprise for everyone.

No an a xe engine (cosworth design) on individual throttle bodies. Should be good for 200 to 220 horses, it doesn't weigh a lot so should be fun.

No!! Can't change the engine in that, unless it has a Cosworth emblem on the rocker cover!

I need a car back in my life, driving me nuts just having a van!!

It will sound incredible on individual throttle bodies, I love high tuned NA engines!
