I run my own water supply, consisting of a bore and submersible pump, tank, and pressure pump.
The tank gravity feeds the pressure pump.
I recently (3 months) replaced my pressure pump.
A couple of weeks ago I noticed a small amount of air being discharged when I open a tap. This is continuing, and occurs in all taps.
This is not a major problem, more an interesting one.
The only answer I have come up with is an extremely low tank level.

I await your replies

Hi. With the negative pressure created on the suction side of the pump, air can be sucked in if there is a dodgy joint or corrosion.

I understand that, but wouldn't taht then leak, with the flooded pump suction.

HI. (I understand that, but wouldn't taht then leak, with the flooded pump suction.) Under most conditions yes. But It may be the standing pressure in this section is a lot less than the negative head developed by the pump.
