Afternoon, im currently saving up my cash to pay for my ACS course, is there anything i would need to know or do before hand, im an experienced plumber and have worked with GSE's in the past

well thanks glenno i wasn't actually enquiring about the diffiuclty of it, its not beyond me to complete it and besides i like a challenge, just take a look at my ex!

What i want to know is whats the best way to gain some prior theory on the subject!

You need to do a portfolio to get into the courses.
commissioning boilers, tightness testing and such.

You really should shadow a gsr to get more hands on and such.
learning everything in a classroom is a recipe for disaster!

no its not glenno, i have done some gas work with a GSE before just never thought about going for the course!
