Hi,

i have the above boiler. Ch been off for 6 moths. Hw activated on demand. With hw on Boiler making a occasional banging noise which seems to be resolved after activating CB and bleeding both ch zones. Now pilot light seems to go out and needs manual relighting. Thinking perhaps air trapped in exchanger and causing overheat and cut out. Boiler has auto air valve fitted. Anyway to manually bleed out air? Thoughts on boiler problem?

pump reasonably new. When hw active pressure increases and pump can be heard spinning so I don't think pump related. Cheers

Providing you've checked the basics such as system pressure and bled the rads, you'll need to get a Gas Safe registered engineer to look at it for you.
