Morning all,

Currently studying to be a gas engineer.
Could someone please advise me of the difference between a service and a safety inspection when it comes to appliances like fires, cookers and boilers?

thanks in advance

A safety inspection is pretty much a visual inspection, sometime checking the flame picture. A service is getting intrusive and makes sure everything is operating how it should. There’s a difference in time spent as well.
