This eyesore has got to go we've lived with it for long enough now with my little Granddaughter son and his wife due to visit in 3 weeks time for a a break it's got to be done , typically I've neglected doing my own bathroom for so long now it's a bit embarrassing posting it but here goes. Got all that's needed to completely transform for it but will be a challenge in between other jobs 😉watch this space . Kop

Little kitchen back splash. Nothing but hassle. Between sparks and plaster it's well screwed.

Boxes sticking too far out the wall. No rubber grommets. Not enough cable to get the tile behind properly. Pulled socket away from wall and live and earth pop out knocking cooker hood lights off.

Sick as a chuff.

From the photo, the cable seems long enough, but they haven't trimmed the sheathing, so it's all very tight.

The irony is that you are being responsible in not wanting to meddle with the wiring as you aren't a sparkie, but whoever wired that rubbish was quite happy to leave it like that. Nice cheap sockets too?

Aye bad photo from me it's the fused spur in bottom corner of first pic.

Here it is with the tiles just in behind.

Apparently sparky was a "friend" of the customer.
