Hi :)
I'm not entirely sure if I'm posting in the right section here as I'm not sure what the problem is so apologies if this is in the wrong bit!
About a week ago the lever type bath tap broke in my bathroom and water was going everywhere, so my dad tried to locate the stop tap. after talking to a neighbour they said the only way to turn the water off was by the stop tap outside the front of the house? So he turned off th e water outside the house. Once the tap had been replaced, he turned it back on but must have cross threaded the tap because it was Still leaking. Turned off the water again, but actually broke the valve outside aswell :/ water was pouring out of the pavement outside so we phoned unites utilities who came out and fixed it. They had to dig up all the pavement. That's now fixed and tap and water is back on. Since the whole scenario, the hot water pressure across the whole of.the house has been shocking. Cold is ok, but hot is very slow. Tried bleeding the radiators but doesn't seem to have any effect. Any other suggestions about what the problem May be?? It's a combi boiler btw. Thanks in advance :)

You need to get someone with some know how in to have a look at it mate, could be anything, probably some crap from the cold pipe stuck.

Im with chapps on that , they may have accidently got dirt into the pipe, youl need a gassafe engineer to have look at your boiler, but b4 you do that make sure all valves on the cold are fully open, i know you said the cold is fine but the main stopcock in your house or outside may still open further

Yep you need to get an engineer on the jobbing... maybe a filter blockage somewhere..

Stuck jumper..

Hi, I'm looking for a water pump to pump water from a storage tank at a constant 3 bar pressure. It's at a campsite I run that's at the bottom of a long, steep hill. We struggle with very high and often fluctuating (around 7 bar) water pressure, which wreaks havoc with our water heaters. I've...

Hi bit of a weird issue, I installed a grohe bathroom tap successfully 2 months ago bought from screwfix. Last week the right hand hot tap makes a squeak noise as I turn it on or off, left tap is 100% perfect and noiseless. This grohe tap is like one unit, so no screw notch or way I can remove...

Hello all, I'm would like to extend an existing outside tap to another point in the garden. I'm about to pour a concrete patio and was hoping to run the water line underneath. There are existing drain (and who knows what) pipes running along the same wall so I'm nervous about digging too far...
