I'm fixing wall hung wc to frame. The wall the wc will contact with is ceramic tiled. Will I need some kind of gasket to prevent the tiles from breaking or not, and if so where do I get one?

never seen one. You might use a silicone behind if you dont want anything visible.

Will be fine I've never used any gaskets only likely to crack tiles if frame itself isn't strong enough

Never used a gasket and dont think there is one as all pans are slightly different shapes although its not a bad idea with amount of pressure exerted down , but aslong as the tiles arent weak then youl be fine, i usually put a real neet beed round the pan once its hung this will help ,,,

As long as your frame is fitted correct, your substrate is sound and the tiles installed correctly then it should be fine.

Geberit sell one, they call it a 'sound proofer' but with mac dee/wirquin frames they come with them, just a foam sheet with cut outs for the threaded bar/flush pipe and soil pipe, then once toilet is fitted just cut around it with knife and silicone around.
we always use hardi backer board on the frame and not plasterboard as have had the plasterboard crush in before.

If some of you guys do a lot of wall hung frames and wall hung basins, them ratchet set spanners are a god send. Quick and easy and can even hang big wall hung basins on your own.
sizes 17mm for Fischer fixings and 19mm for the WC wall hung fixing kit.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO ADJUST THIS MIXER UNIT? WE HAVE TO HAVE IT TURNED ALMOST FULLY ANTI CLOCKWISE TO GET HOT WATEROUT. THE FRONT PLATE WITH MIRA ON IT PRISES OFF AND INSIDE THERE ARE SOME PLASTIC BITS AND A SMALL CROSS-HEAD SCREW IN THE MIDDLE. THANKS
