Funny though. Although we supply them we still prefer the silver diamond cores in the packs of four.

But its our customers who keep demanding the Vaccum Brazed solutions. We supply but we always suggest the silver cores.

Each to their own though !

Turbo cores are good. BUT we prefer our own silver bullets! In a pack of four.

Hi, I do a lot of tile drilling and usually use the water system, I have just watched the u tube video and it shows minimal amounts of water added, can I use porsa drill completely dry? or does it need some water? How many cuts would you get if you cut wet? How powerful in stone or porcelain tiles? basically I do about 15 cuts a month in 8mm, how long do you think these bits will last?

The thing about the Turbo Cores (Or Vaccum Brazed diamond cores) is that everyone gets excited about how many holes you can get per bit.

One company is claiming between 30 and 70 holes per single bit in even the hardest porcelain tile.

I wont say any names but they retail via a certain company who start with an S and ends in a FIX

BUT HOLD ON FOLKS - UNDER REAL LIFE TESTS THESE CORES ONLY LAST 25 HOLES EACH

We know because we bench tested them.

In contrast our 8mm silver cores do 10 to 15 holes each so thats between 40 and 60 holes per quad pack.

This quad pack does 40 to 60 holes for £29.99

In contrast the Turbo Core at £35 does 25

So in reality you do not get as much bang for your buck. Tested side by side the Turbo Core is WORSE and in our tests would NEVER reach 30 holes let alone that 70 figure quoted..

So why do we sell them then?

1) Market demand. People keep ASKING us for them. They read the puff and then wonder why ********* doesnt have a vacuum brazed core.
2) Retail branches were kicking us out because they saw the Vaccum core as the way forward.

To get the best out of a Turbo Core it should be run dry at 30,000 RPM and thats angle grinder speed. No drill can match it. So the life is shorter.
So we cool

My advice to everyone is always go for the quad packs of electroplated cores for £29.99. They last longer. You get more for your money.

I know the fact we retail the Turbo Core might be confusing but we have to keep in with the retail shops and its customer driven demand so our backs are to the wall.
