Hi everyone,

Iv'e just had a probatory inspesction by gas safe.
I put the tightness question to him on whether do do
or not to when you are only doing a maintenence or service?.

All he said was it was good practice to do but i really do not
have to if i isolate the appliance at the appliance isolation valve.

I think the only time to do is when there is or you interupt the gas supply
at the ECV smell of gas and so on.

So my previous question has now been answered by the Boss..

Thanks everyone for your contribution.
