Alright guys?

I'm new to oil, only just finished my oftec exams, so please forgive me if it's a stupid question.

I've heard some people in the past mention how they've blown up a tiger loop in the past. I know a tigerloop is a deaerator, but how would someone manage to blow one up??

Only a guess but I would imagine by carrying out a pressure test on the oil line with the tigerloop still piped in. Have also heard of cracked bodys from overtightening fittings.

Incorrectly connected hoses can cause damage.

If you do decide that it is necessary to install one, read MI's first and you'll be fine.

Also read burner MI's with regards to piping oil supplies.

If you decide on single, two pipe or tiger loops etc, make sure you've got the grub screw sorted !

Pumps can suffer irreparable damage easily
