Thanks in advance for any help.

Issue -

heating comes on. pipes tap loudly. the noise is a fast tapping, slows down and then comes to an eventual stop.

The noise does not originate from the boiler but from the pipes close to the boiler and the first 3 radiators (and their pipes) on the system. (boiler upstairs - no tapping downstairs)

Worcester-Bosch combi boiler (5 years old)
system flushed on installation and magnetic filter fitted

tried so far -
radiators bled.
radiators bled a 2nd time after system switched off for 20 mins.
boiler pressure adjusted from upper green to lower green to central.

Possibly knocking pipes together, tight pipe against a floorboard or joist. Can you take up any floorboards ?
