was at a riello oil burner trying to get started it wasnt used for 10 yrs appox. cleaned it all out and changed nozzle. fired it up and sparks but then goes into lockout. pressure at oil pump only 4 bar and bleed oil removed nozzle and no oil behind nozzzle whats the problem??

oil pressure required generally between 8 and 12 bar. if the fan running then possible a plastic spindle between fan motor and oil pump worn/broken, once you have oile pressure then repost !

stupidly gonna ask you, have you checked stop taps and fire valves ??

thanks for the replys guys. I stripped the pump and checked each part located problem with pressure adjust screw had to open it fully and that worked then had to adjusted da pressure to 8 bar and all ok now
