Hi, i went to customers boiler yesterday ravenheat rsf 84 et they said it was leaking from under the boier, when i looked at it no signs of leak but they said they had left a bucket under the boiler which was hall full, there was signs that outside there was water coming out of the pressure relief? any ideas?
thanks:(

prv leaking ,re pressure expansion vessel, seal leak to prv pipework

most probale is they had it over preasured at some point and the relief pipe work leaks when under preasure now the preasures back to normal pipework has stopped leakin
bang it up to 2.5 and lift the safty see if leak re apears its going to want changing anywat so best see if the pipes sound first

you can clean the PRV if you want, but will need to drain down before hand. If your re-charging the vessel you will be doing this anyway.
