Just catching up on Doc Martin on sky q.

His Aunt and anybody else visiting her house gets headaches.

The resident ex plumbers, with co monitor in hand, enter property to check, complete with the cheapest dust masks they could find.

Doesn't exactly add authenticity to the situation.

The serious issue here is CO alert devices, any over say 3 years are useless. Ok press the
test button and that will tell you if the battery is live etc. The grim reality is that
the way these things work is a chemical reaction which makes the unit work...however
the active life of the chemicals is no more than 3 2 4 years so out of date units will test ok
just because the battery is live nothing more than that.. I have alerted my local MP
to this issue but he is busy with other matters. centralheatking

There is no effective way to properly test a CO detector other than to have a CO spray can
I have not seen these on sale alongside the alarms. CO spray is available however centralheatking

Every two weeks or so I have to go and top up the system because the hot taps are running cold. Boiler display is flashing 0.6 bar and I fill up to 1.3. I've had an engineer look inside the boiler and he can't see anything wrong. I've checked the pipes all over the house and cannot see any...

Hello all, I’m replacing a concrete paving slab patio in the back yard. The original patio used 50mm deep concrete slabs on hardcore & sand. I’m planning to pour a 100mm deep concrete patio on 100mm hardcore. In order to achieve the same final height to line up with the rest of the patio, I...
