Hi everyone,

I am after some pressure testing equipment to test gas supply pipework and also potable water and heating pipes.

Any recomendations?

Thanks!

I will have to get a pic but what i use is a air compressor little one from machine mart have a bayonet type fitting on the end and what i made up is a pressure gauge with a 1"2 lever valve and a fitting to go onto the bayonet. I find it works perfect and so easy to use.

Screwfix sell a 4 bar pressure Dry test adaptor. It is a 4 Bar gauge with a 15mm speedfit connector and a schrader tyre valve. You can attached a foot pump or a compression onto it. I use this to help find gas leaks that are hidden isolate all appliances and pressurise the system and hopefully you can hear the leak before smashing up the floors and walls.
