Plumber with experience but limited, available in North London seeks position with experienced plumber.

City and Guilds 6129 Level 2, Water Regs, Unvented, Solar.

Own tools including power, driving licence, CSCS - dont have a van.

Have been around the industry, but not continuously employed within, for over 8 years and for the past 2 years, have been attempting to run my own small plumbing business within about a mile of where I live - Finsbury Park, North London.

Most experienced with copper pipework, fault diagnosis and maintenance of wet systems generally with some heating experience. Less experienced in bathroom and soil stack installation. Have worked mainly in domestic environments with some commerial experience. Have some sense of what it takes to keep a business running.

Struggling to get a sufficiently continuous flow of work, perhaps because of limited skillset and not having a van. Thus working largely on my own, which means works are frequently riskier, less efficient and not learning from anothers perspective or having their good counsel. Not to mention lonelier and less fun!

Available part-time, on a job basis or perhaps even full time. Currently available on a trial basis for FREE upto a couple of days. Rates negotiatable after that.

Will consider others also in a similar position? Lets work together, see if we can work successfully together, see which of us best leads and take it from there!

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...

Hello all, I’m replacing a concrete paving slab patio in the back yard. The original patio used 50mm deep concrete slabs on hardcore & sand. I’m planning to pour a 100mm deep concrete patio on 100mm hardcore. In order to achieve the same final height to line up with the rest of the patio, I...

Hi all. Hope you have all been keeping well. A while back I decided I only wanted to fit one brand of boiler and decided on Viessmann due to space for servicing and changing parts if ever needing to. I am finding my decision rather hard due to the different clearances on flue runs and cupboards...

Hi, basic question, any insight much appreciated. Looking to have an outdoor tap in my front porch fed from 15mm pex coming up from suspended floor. Pic 1 is inside porch, pex temporarily clipped to give an idea of pipe placement (ignore shoddy blockwork of booted cowboy builder!), Pic 2 is...
