Hypothetical scenario;

Trades on the job are plumber, electrician, plasterer and kitchen fitter. Kitchen has an integrated dishwasher. Plumber in 2nd fix fits cold isolation valve and provides waste pipe connection in unit next to dishwasher (under kitchen sink).

Nothing had been specifically quoted for with regards to dishwasher installation.

In a usual scenario would the fitting, levelling and final connections of the integrated dishwasher lye with the plumber, electrician or kitchen fitter?

Would surely depend on who included it in their quote? If its been missed by customer and its not included within anyones quote/contract then it should be an added extra that either plumber or possibly kitchen fitter would do once price agreed.

Customer is project managing and supplying the dishwasher. It's been fitted by kitchen fitter (and charged for as they said it was not included in their price) but they are expecting it deducted from the plumbing invoice as assumed it was part of the plumbing second fix

That's taking the mickey, whether it was in your initial quote or not they shouldn't let another tradesman do it, with the intention of passing on the cost to you, without talking to you about it first.
