Discuss Pipe Threading or Press Fit for Air? in the Plumbing Jobs | The Job-board area at PlumbersForums.net

Just curious as to which method most people use when fitting compressed air lines?

We have always done it the old school way threading galv tube but have been told today our quote for a new factory was thousands more than a firm who priced the same job but using press fit.

My only dealing with press fit is where I had to replace a few fittings and section of pipe after the frost had pulled the fitting off the pipe!

Depends on pressure and flow why not push fit ?

But press is 100% quicker than old school just need to make sure your airs dry before it enters
