Hi we had a recent service on our 40 year old Thorn oil boiler, we fire it up for the 1st time since the service todayfor got water, after 20 mins there was black smoke bellowing from the cabinet and flames inside. Going off the photos is there any obvious pointers to what went wrong? Thanks in advance.

Think that's probably beyond economic repair. Looked to be a disaster waiting to happen.
Oil line certainly needs attention capillary joints huge no.
