I see that OFTEC have emailed everyone (and I do mean everyone - thanks for giving me all their email addresses by the way OFTEC!!)

With the latest technical update. Trouble is the link doesn't work. Not for me anyway.

Bit weird that they sent it as a group email with all their members on there. Very handy for a spammer who's pushing plumbing supplies.

Maybe a report to the data comissioner is needed.

Data Protection Act can involve heavy fines.

Got this today.

Dear Technician,

It has been brought to our attention that the link provided in our latest technical update e-mail does not work. We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.

To access the Technical book 4 updates, please use the following steps:

1. Sign in to the ‘Oil Technicians’ area of the website (

http://www.oftec.org/Technicians/Signin).

2. On the next webpage, select ‘Technical information and updates’ from the bullet point list in the centre.

3. On the ‘Technical info – downloads’ webpage, select the ‘Technical book updates’ link from below the image.

4. Scroll down to view the Technical Book 4 updates table.

Regards,

OFTEC Technical Services.
