Hello newbie here and looking for help please
We are getting a new bathroom fitted , and since the new bath tap (reinosa bath single mixer ) was fitted there is a roaring / wooshing noise travelling through the pipes to the tap.
The noise is worse on cold than hot.
When the tap is opened a little its not too bad.
When it is fully opened it is louder.
When only half opened very loud.
Have tried turning down the isolator valves , but did not help.
Tried shutting down the stopcock but only made a difference when the flow was nearly stopped.
The tap was bought from Victoria Plumb , not a cheap one.
The tap downstairs in kitchen is a dual mixer and no noise from it
Installer who we have used before said it can be a problem with these types of taps.
Would pressure reduction valves help.
Any other help would be appreciated
