Hey guys, my name is Steve all the way from Cape Town, SA. I'm starting a plumbing course in April which is NQF level 2,3,4 which is 6 months and followed by a apprenticeship. I'm hoping to do my apprenticeship in the UK once I've finished the course.

The reason why I ask, I'm hoping to move to the UK at the end of the year. Is this certificate recognized in the UK and what other courses are needed to be a qualified plumber?

I know the recession has hit everyone hard around the world, would it be hard for me to find a company in the UK to take me on as an apprentice and the fact I'm foreign?

Thanks guys,
Steve
