New bath taps

Ok so I have bought some new bath taps and need the old ones taking off and new ones putting on. I live on the Wirral, how much??

Difficult to say as it's not necessarily an easy job. Most times it takes about an hour but occasionally the bath has to be taken out and it ends up taking about 5 hours. Don't be surprised if no one wants to quote you but only give an estimate.

Fitter may well want to use flexible tap connectors which will add another £10 as these make the job much quicker and easier.

So price will be anything from £50/£75 to £150 or so.

As I said above, most times it should only take about an hour and cost around £70.

You'd need to give more info i.e. is it a cast bath, is your hot water gravity or do you have a combi or unvented cylinder, does the bath panel come off easy enough.

i agree with dkia it all depends on access under the bath and how easy to isolate among other things but pricing is spot on.

....and does the plumber need to remove and reinstall the bath panel too?
I'd charge about £70 and would freeze the supplies if no valves or ancient valves present. Straight swop should take about an hour unless they are stuck solid on a acrylic bath, where more care would have to be taken to ensure the bath doesn't crack when trying to remove them.
