Hey doe mixer bath tap that has a shower connected give as good a shower as a bath shower? Is much easier to do this to have a shower above the bath than, chase pipes in to the wall for a bar shower.

These work well.

Depends on what plumbing system you have. Unvented cylinder or combi system = good flow usually, but on a tank fed gravity system you might not get great pressure unless cwt level is several metres above.
If you want a simple solution you could buy a thermostatic bath shower mixer.

It would be on comb system, would a thermostatic bath shower mixer be a lot better than a standard bath shower mixer?

Thanks the thermostatic part stopping it get too hot or changing temperature if over hot draw off points are open?

regulates the temperature to stop scalding but like all combi systems if another tap is turned on the shower could go cold but should never scald anyone in the shower

Thanks and does the thermostatic part not work when your running a bath so you can draw of hotter water?
