I am desperate for a plumbing work placement in watford/hertfordshire area to complete my plumbing NVQ level 2 course, I don't mind traveling and working 5 days a week.

I recently completed a plumbing City & Guilds level 2 technical certificate at West Herts College kings Langley, I learnt how to fit an indirect hot water system and a bathroom suite. I also learnt all the pipe sizes, fittings and tools. After that I did a year of plumbing City & Guilds level 3 technical and learnt how to fit, commission and decommission a cooker, duel shower pumps, space heater and a gas water heater. I have GCSEs in Maths, English, science, RE, IT, and D+T. I have also got level 1 Maths and level 2 English functional skills. I am currently in college in Edgware studying plumbing NVQ level 2 city & guilds: 6129 to gain more experience in the field.

I am available for an interview immediately and can be contacted on my mobile phone during normal working hours.
For my number please contact me via PM.

I look forward to hearing from you shortly.

Thanks,

Anthony O'Rourke

Good look Anthony although you may wish to remove your mobile number form you post as its in the open forum and every Tom mick and Sally can see it. Maybe ask people to contact you via PM for it.

good luck

Kings Langley is lovely... used to be 11 pubs there... now I think there are only 3... :(

Good luck Anthony... especially with those "functional skills" in Maths and English.

galaxy_plumbing, are you taking on apprentices?

Sorry Anthony, but I'm not fully booked at this moment so not taking anybody. However if you want some experience and I get something interesting I could give you a call. Try yellow pages and call all companies there.

Thanks galaxy_plumbing, sorry to hear that your finding it hard to get work and i would be grateful to get some more experience and i have tried the yellow pages and have had no luck. I will send you my number :smiley2:

Bod am not gonna tell anyone on the net where I am from ya, whats your real name Jimmy Saville? Watford is a dump its too transient, and full of drugs, and as for Kings Langley that is a total ****hole and full of alcoholics. You cant even go the pub without fear of being stabbed. It looks nice on the outside but it dont do what it says on the tin, bit like that other dump Basildon Essex.

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...
