Hi
We have an Ideal iCos combi-boiler; the exact model unknown but likely to be one of HE-12/15/18 or 24.

ISSUE: It was working when we went away about three weeks ago but now I cannot restart using the user guide sequence. There is no LED light showing in the display. I have checked the circuit breakers and they are OK. Gas hob is working.

REQUEST: I need a gas safe engineer in London SW17 (Balham) to attend on-site to check the system and probably full service. (We only bought the house a year ago - (there is also a second combi-boilers [Saunier-Duval] - don't ask) so we would want to get both serviced pending proposed renovation in 2016.

Is anyone in the area working over the new year weekend?
(Fortunately it's not too cold at the moment. We can get by with just the second boiler for HW and CH in the upper part of the house and an extra pullover.)

Thanks and happy new year
Andy

Well bad luck on you ! buying a house with Proberly the 2 worst boilers on the market, is anything lighting up on boiler ? have you checked that power switch on wall is on, check that 3amp fuse in switch or plug is ok, check water pressure on boiler,

If you're interested please pm the op directly. Thank you!

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...
