Sorry for such a rubbish thread.

Need to replace the bath in my house, don't want anything fancy. It's a rented house but my gf broke it so we have to pay. Does anyone know where I can get a very cheap bath in Kent?

Tried ebay but can't find anything.

Nobody you know taking one out?

You anywhere near Rays mob, Williams? Could give them a try.

Just seen screwfix do a bath for £79 probably the cheapest i'm going to find.

How did the current one break? I had to fit a cast iron bath in mine, the mrs was denting all the pressed steel ones we had previously.

Where the bath is against the wall there are a couple of small mirrors, after 1 too many BEFORE going out she stood in the bath with high heels to check her make up and the heel went straight through. LOL

Luckily it's at the back end so with a container under the bath and sticking to showering not too much gets through but it looks bad and shouldn't take too long to put one in. won't be too bothered about quality it's not exactly a palace anyway.

Could try eBay, I saw a lot of bargain baths on there recently, if you find one local that you can collect you may get a steal. I ended up using B and Q trade point paid about £90 or £100 but seen some real bargains that were too far to travel to collect.

Are you going to re-use taps, waste, trap and panel? This cost me an extra £100 or so, it was for a customer though, I ended up charging £330 to supply and fit so made over £100.

Same for me seeing plenty of bargains on ebay but nothing local. Will give williams a call tomorrow if I remember just got in from work so i'm sure it can wait. :)

fill the hole with some cataloy and bridge the underside with some mesh or fibre tape.
once dry, rub it down with wet & dry sandpaper , then touch up with white paint.
cost you next to nothing
