Discuss Liquid ptfe / Rocol oil seal in the Plumbing Jobs | The Job-board area at PlumbersForums.net
I use the oil seal, which I haven't had any problems with, not used the liquid Ptfe, have you had problems with either?
Dont like the rocol, much prefer heldite.

same here prefer heldtite, have had a tube of liquid ptfe for ages, tends to go everywhere, so dont use it very often
I use the regin stuff on heating and potable. Its a bit pricey but top gear.
Only prob with heldite is you can't use it on pot water
For threaded joints i've been tending to use Loctite 577 lately
Not for potable water tho
