whats the quickest eand easiest way to sort out a leaky rad tapping witout changing the system down?also i have a control valve on one side of the rad ,i turned with the pump pliers and its leaking water?i turned it because radiator is not getting hot as system been recently piped up.thanks,ajoint.

post some pictures.

its likely theres not enough ptfe tape on the radiator tail going into the tapping, this can be done by turning off both side of the rad, draining into a tub untill empty and then attend to the offending leak.

the other leak on the rad valve sounds like the gland needs a turn to tighten it up.

pictures will help.

thanks for that a wheating, what is was was the locksheild valve tightened it up on the outer screw which stoped the water leaking, nowi have a banging noise in the pipes in one radiator, what can that be?air in the pipes perhaps.

If the system has been recently piped as you say I would suggest you call the offending idiot who did the job for you and ask them to clip the pipes ***This is my pet HATE*** No offence is meant...
