Evening all, where's the best place to get a btu/ kw calculator or what's the best /easiest one to use?

Sounds like ya need a mears cal. Try ebay. Not a cheap item but well worth it.

If you just want to convert KW to BTU or vice versa, then use this:

Convert BTU to kW - British thermal units conversion to kilowatts

As it says:

To convert BTU to kW simply multiply by 0.000293. To convert kW to BTU simply multiply by 3414.

Yeah it's the rad calculator I need as I get hugely different readings from the lads in the plumbers merchants

easier to remember to either multiply(to change kw to BTU) or divide (to change BTU to Kw) by 3412

That's like asking a checkout person in Asda how to make a crêpe suzette! You may be lucky and ask one who actually knows, but I wouldn't like to bet on it.
