Hi There,

My kitchen sink has started to "glug" whenever water is poured down it. The wife has poured some mr muscle sink buster stuff down it but it still occurs. Am i right in thinking i am going to have to replace or clean the pipes and trap by hand? Any advice appreciated.

Sounds like a blockage somewhere. Try knock out drain cleaner - if that doesn't shift it then you'll need to find the blockage to clear it - first place to look is the trap.

Took the bottle trap off and got rid of as much gunk as i could, put it all back together and the glugging has stopped - cheers resolute your help is much appreciated.
