Speedfits new lay flat barrier pipe which is as flexible as a rubber hose put to the test. By the way the testers at JG have had too many joints (and I don't mean push fit ones) and well just watch the vid........

LAYFLAT PIPE PUT TO TEST - YouTube

Looks like a clip from children's tv something that would be presented by Richard Hammond

I look forward to trying it myself. As for the threading through joists test....really!? Holes that size in standard joists, I think not!

It's funny as they never admited the coils were an issue until they produced something that isn't like a coiled spring.

Looks good stuff.

We had to use speedfit at eagaheat and I hated the pipe. Hep was a lot easier to thread.

I find hep to be the worst for coiling up! Speedfit and poly seem to straighten out much better.

Yeah, it's a stupid advert, but we've all sat and watched it!

It does look good. I hate the way it fights against you when you're running a load out.

I do a fair bit of work in offices where we run it above the suspended ceiling. Long runs, (often the insurers don't want any joints). It can be a right pain in the backside!
