I've won it, someone has sent me a email to prove it so it must be true.
I have to contact someone in South Africa no doubt to discuss transferring the funds.

it says I should not tell anyone of my winnings just yet.

Here comes a new van me thinks....
 
Bit of advice. These spam mails are sent out in mass using specially designed software. There is code attached to each email that even if you open it, the code is returned back to the sender and you'll get more of these emails. Never reply to one as again you'll get plagued with more messages, plus it will only confirm to the sender that your email account is active.

Basically they are after your identity and bank details and this is called phishing. For every 10k or so emails that they send out, 2 will reply. Poor gullible muppets.
 
Only 3 Million ? last one I had was for 12.5 Million, must be cutbacks in the world of Scams as well !!
 
To collect your winnings you send off all your personal and bank details and then bend over and touch your toes :)
