Hi all
Just wondering if any of you have any experience of supplying/or fitting inline magnetic or electrolytic scale inhibitors.
Your experiences/opinions welcomed.

hi,
i was at the phex at old trafford last week and saw some of these in action. the one that seemed most impressive was the spirotech. slightly dearer than the sentinel or fernox etc.
they do a conbo valve that bleeds air as well. they had clear pipes with water and a pump added magnetite and air, cleared in no time.also versatile fixing. 20year gaurentee!!!!
i'll be using these in future.

if retro fitting to a system you will need to re-visit after a month or so to drop the crap out, then should be annually after that.

I was refering to the incoming mains supply line.
Cheers anyway.

In my experience they are all carp and only fit on a new install to comply when I have to. Water softeners are the best way or if cost is an issue then a combimate or something like this.
