Discuss How To Become Gas Safe in the Plumbing Jobs | The Job-board area at PlumbersForums.net

Is it better to have the boiler seviced before we move in?
I'd always recommend to have any gas appliance checked and serviced before moving in. If you haven't already bought the house, get it checked over before you do, you don't want to find any nasty surprises after you buy it.

An engineer should test the gas for leaks anyway and all visible pipes will be visually checked. You should have all appliances serviced at least once a year.
