Hi all,
Just a quick question. I have a log burner and a gas boiler on a dual fuel system (Central heating and Hot Water) either can do both. The hot water tank I believe is a closed system but is on the same level as the bath. Therefore as you might guess the water pressure at the bath even on the 22mm pipe hot tap is just over a dribble.
A local plumber mentioned I could perhaps have an open vented water tank that would allow the cold water pressure push the hot out?? But it would need an external bleed off. I currently have a radiator as a heat bleed off to stop that water over boiling.
I have had a Salamander pump on the system but even the quietest my neighbour can hear (problem). So a pressure pump is not really an option. Any ideas guys?
Any ideas costings or if you are capable please get in touch.
James
