Hdpe help please reducer

Hi guys, I was wondering the best way to get from 50mm hdpe fusion weld to a 42mm pvc is there some sort of reducer that covers both types of plastic??

It's just a condensate drain off of some air conditioning units

Best way would either be a transition coupling (some like a philmac or plason)

Or a 50mm hdpe fusion to 11/2 female threaded and then a 11/2 to 42mm pvc male iron
