I have a UPS 15-50 x18 pump. Can anyone tell me what the x 18 stands for?

The 18 is probably the length in cm. though usually expressed as 180 (mm)

Check that the number is 180, it's not usually written as 18.

You can get 15-50 130 and 180 pumps.

as above, its the length of the pump flat face to face.most domestic pumps are 130 or 180mm

It is 15-50x18 its a grey grunfos and used on Gledhill appliances.
I have 2 brand new ones on my shelf and wondered about using on a different system. the x18 is the puzzling part. Not sure if they can be used elsewhere?
