hi has anyone got any idea what the sensing tube does on this boiler the one that goes from the gas valve to the combustion chamber,

it gives a Truer reading for the burner pressure roughly speaking
 
as above its a compensate tube and a betacom is a heatline vizo in disguise:77:heres the mi,s well it would be just as useful LOL

had one last week where it would go off after an hour with no faults showing but never did it while i was there . customer said if he turned the timer it would come on again so assumed timer clock but was shocked they are over £100 so going back with external one next wk

Nothing surprises me these days
I was quoted £140 for an internal clock for an ideal years ago , which I did not buy
I think the most expensive fan I bought was for an APPOLO for £320 odd
£95 for an elm la blanc prv £60 for a vaillant PRV
